Saturday...in the Park

This was a sketch I'd done some time ago while drinking tea outside my local Caribou Coffee. I was looking to do something new for the upcoming HATCH gallery show, so I painted a larger version. I'm not sure I like it enough to enter, but here it is.

    actually I think it's a good piece for the show. might offset the cavorting alterna-girls and upside down crosses. just joking.

    I didn't end up entering it anyway. And anything I did didn't make it in. From what I understand, none of the cartoonists got anything in. Must be a conspiracy.
